GEOGRAPHIC SITUATION:
The sierra de Prades is located in Spain Catalunya, surrounded by the towns of Tarragona and Lleida. Easy access by speedway, or to the Reus airport at half an hour from Cornudella. You can also easely fly to Barcelona and get a sheap train to Reus and then connect Cornudella de Montsant by bus. Cornudella de Montsant is the best strategic place to stay in the heart of the best crags.
THE CLIMBING SPOTS
Here we climb mostly on a perfect colorfull limestone. In Siurana the rock gives a technical climbing with small crimps. The Montsant areas are conglomerat stones, completly different from Siurana, mostly with pockets and some tufas, where we can find also multi pich routes. We have also many good places for bouldering grey or red sandstone.
